Our Chairman
Formally divisional Managing Director of two multi-nationals (Allied Lyons & Grand Metropolitan) in the hospitality industry. For the last 15 years, Peter has held various non-executive and consultancy positions in the public and private sector. Peter’s career has been largely operational and marketing focussed. Peter is helping to drive our strategy within the all-important food safety industry.
Richard Mallett
Managing Director
Richard is a microbiologist who began his career as a project microbiologist and HACCP specialist for Rank Hovis McDougal. An experienced and qualified BRC consultant, HACCP & Food Safety trainer; Richard ‘s operational duties include implementation of BRC Compliant systems and HACCP plans for our clients together with specialist and advanced Food Safety and HACCP training. Richard continues practising microbiology and is our chief consultant for Food Microbiology Training and Laboratory Development.
Colin Clarke
Administrative Director
Colin is responsible for our company’s administration and accounting. He has a role in strategy development as an internal auditor for our ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and more recently as an Auditor for our HACCP & Food Hygiene auditing service; where he plays a key role in the audit of Catering HACCP Systems.
Armanda Everington-Nee
Research Manager
Amanda has previously gained invaluable experience in contract management at Pfizer. Amanda plays a key role in maintaining our extensive database, researching opportunities in the food industry as well as controlling some of our more challenging projects; including Colin, Richard and even Peter!
Richard Smurden
Associate Consultant
Richard started his working life in the Royal Air Force as an Engineer. He is a quality assurance professional within the food & beverage industry, having latterly work at Silver Spring Soft Drinks Ltd. He has managed the implementation of HACCP Systems & Training and Maintenance of BRC Standards. He boasts a broad portfolio of qualifications including; Advanced HACCP training to RIPH Standards, Health & Safety to IOSHH standards and BSDA Train the Trainer. He is currently responsible for our HACCP and Hygiene audits and BRC implementation projects.
