Health & Safety Audits
Never has it been more important to have a pro-active and preventative attitude towards health and safety in the workplace. Mallett Quality Management Ltd. auditors are trained to identify the physical, biological and chemical hazards, unsafe acts and conditions that can occur in the workplace and to recommend actions that should be taken to reduce or eliminate those hazards.
A full written report is produced for each audit with actions required and suggested timescale.
Training of in-house staff can also be conducted so that regular, documented health and safety audit checks can be carried out by your staff.
Policies & Manuals
Legislation dictates that any company with five or more employees, have a documented Health & Safety Manual. This should include your company policy statement, employer’s and employees’ responsibilities, up to date risk assesments (including fire), safe systems of work, and job specific policies such as driver safety and use of display screen equipment.
The purpose of the manual is not only to assist in defences of due dilligence, but to safe guard your employees against accident and injury, whilst improving working conditions and complying with ever changing legislation.
Mallett Quality Management can develop, write and implement new manuals for all business sectors, as well as reviewing and updating existing manuals and procedures.
Risk Assesments

All risk assessments will be presented as formal written documents to help you drive forward your health & safety improvements.
You can be sure of expert and up to date advice from a company which is a corporate member of the British Safety Council.
Accident and Insurance Investigation
Everyone has heard the phrase ‘Compensation Culture’, and is aware of the potential cost of any accidents and incidents in the work place. Following any serious or reoccuring incidents it is advisable to carry out a detailed investigation into causes and solutions. To prepare for any possible insurance claims an inspection of employees training, signed policies, risk assessments and experience should be examined to identify any shortfalls.
